The first screenings of Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage have taken place, and while the overall mood is positive, it feels like something bigger is brewing. This is because people who have seen the movie can’t help but scream about the credits scene.
But before that, let’s check out a quote from Venom 2 director Andy Serkis. Speaking to IGN, he said: “Look, that’s the question on everyone’s lips… They want to know if Venom is going to meet Spider-Man, but personally that will never happen. Just kidding, of course it’s okay. to arrive.”
Serkis also said patience is important, noting, “If people want more Venom stories then jump right into Spider-Man, you might be missing out on so many great villain characters by then. . So in a way, by rushing in, you might be closing the door. “
This makes us very curious about when exactly Spider-Man and Venom will reunite, as the two haven’t crossed paths on film since Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man 3. Everything we’ve seen from Loki’s finale, and the leaks of Spider-Man: No Way Home, suggests that the multiverse is opening wide, and all the rules could be broken soon.
But back to the reactions of Venom 2. Neil vagg from GetYourComicOn tweeted “DON’T MISS CREDITS!” Wire tweeted that the movie “is chart crazy” and ended its tweet by saying “And damn f ** k, THAT post credits scene !!!”
This amount of breathless pleading makes us wonder how much we are going to get out of this scene. It could end up being absolutely huge for the Spider-Verse.
Venom 2 potential spoilers (this is your spoiler warning!)
So, ready for a tantalizing little tease? It looks like the end credits scene may have something to do with Spider-Man: No Way Home.
According to screenshots uploaded By @Spider_Leaks, a member of the audience claims that Venom 2 is actually an MCU movie, and this user also suggests that we’ll find out more once we “stick to the credits scene”.
Of course, we don’t recommend lurking around the #VenomLetThereBeCarnage hashtag on twitter unless you’re prepared for potential spoilers, like this one.
However, none of these tweeters share evidence of their spoilers or access to the film. Images can float around various subtitles, like @bigscreenleaks alleges that the scene may already be live. We bet Sony will make sure this is removed as soon as possible.
