Super Bowl 2022 date, time, halftime, and everything we know so far

With just over a month before Super Bowl 2022, it’s not too early to make sure you have confirmed details on the NFL’s biggest live stream of the year. Super Bowl LVI airs (at least it’s scheduled) from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles next month. We say “planned for” because the increase in Covid cases in California means the NFL is looking for possible alternative sites if there are restrictions on live events.

Super Bowl 2022 will be available on most of the top streaming services, so you’ll have a whole list of ways to watch the big day. This means it won’t just be on the NBC networks (which are available on all of the best cable TV alternatives), but the Peacock streaming service as well.

While it’s still too early to know who will play in Super Bowl LVI, there are a few favorites (the top two teams to win it have swapped places over the past few months), and we’ll get to that below in Super Bowl odds 2022.

We also know exactly when Super Bowl 2022 is taking place, which is playing the halftime show (though that’s still subject to change)

Super Bowl 2022 date

Yes, Super Bowl 2022 takes place a little later than usual. That’s because each team is playing a 17th regular season game, extending the season to an 18th week.

It means Super Bowl 2022 will take place on Sunday, February 13, 2022.

Super Bowl Time 2022

There is going to be a the whole program of Super Bowl 2022 events and festivities, but you need to know what time to be sure you’re watching.

Good news: Super Bowl 2022 (kicks off) is officially at 6:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. GMT.

And since Super Bowl 2022 is (scheduled) to take place in Inglewood, Calif., It’s fitting that the game’s halftime show features two megastars who grew up nearby. The Pepsi Super Bowl LVI halftime show will feature Dr. Dre, from Compton, and Snoop Dogg, from Long Beach.

Kendrick Lamar of Compton also performs in the halftime show. Hometown rappers will be joined by Mary J. Blige and Eminem.

With a star-studded lineup of rap and R&B luminaries like these five, this is one of the most interesting halftime shows in recent history.

Super Bowl 2022 odds

If anything is subject to change, it’s the teams that are expected to play and win the Super Bowl 2022. Previously, the Kansas City Chiefs were the favorites, with Caesars Sportsbook (according to CBS Sports) scoring them at +550 (bet $ 100 to win $ 550). Behind Mahomes ‘crew, Aaron Rodgers’ Green Bay Packers were at +900 and Tom Brady’s Bucs at +1100. The Ravens (+1200), Bills (+1200) and Rams (+1300) were lagging behind.
