The season of limited editions and fan editions of popular handsets seems to be stretching beyond imaginable limits. We had the OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-man edition in mid-November and also have the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. Next in line is the Limited Edition Realme GT Neo 2 which went official in China last week.

While the Samsung Fan Edition is expected at the start of this week, it is confirmed that the Realme GT 2 Neo 2 Dragon Ball Edition is expected to release soon enough in India. And, the revelation was Realme CMO for India and Europe Francis Wong, who used his Twitter account to send the teaser.

As is generally the case, these limited edition devices target fans of the original handset and come with almost the same set of features and specifications, but with a slightly different design language. So the Dragon Ball edition of the Realme GT 2 Neo gets a glass back panel with a touch of orange and blue paint redone in a matte finish.

Additionally, the actual frame of the handset is blue and this color scheme on this limited edition handset reminds us of Goku’s outfit in the Dragon Ball franchise. The Realme manager teased the image of the handset and wondered if fans in India and Europe wanted it to launch in their geographies.

Of course, the marketing message itself is not intended for comment and simply indicates the brand’s plans for an upcoming launch. We expect Realme to start disclosing more information about the handset soon, which may have minor changes compared to the original device which arrived in the second half of 2021.
