New Cobra Kai season 4 trailer reveals final release date

Netflix has released a new trailer for Cobra Kai Season 4, confirming that the show will be released on the streamer on December 31.

After a long preamble, the release date was revealed during Netflix’s Tudum event by the cast. This technically means you’ve had two seasons of the Karate Kid spinoff in a single year, Season 3 returned on January 1. Cobra Kai Season 5 has already been confirmed.

The trailer shows us more of the alliance of Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) as they prepare to take on Cobra Kai, still at the hands of Kreese (Martin Kove). It also brings us the return of Thomas Ian Griffith’s Terry Silver, first introduced in The Karate Kid Part III in 1989. The season will see Silver and Kreese team up to take on our two heroes.

Netflix also offered a connection line for the new season. “On December 31, the battle for the soul of the Valley awakens. New alliances. Higher stakes than ever. Who will win the All Valley tournament?”

We’re excited to see Cobra Kai return to the series with a slew of lovable characters, and the absurd number of fights each season makes it a lot of fun to watch. There is just something very winning about aging men from the 1980s fighting with each other.

We have no doubts that we will be burning this new series of episodes in no time before the start of 2022. Cobra Kai is streaming exclusively on Netflix.
