Monster Hunter Rise will not have support for cross-save on PC

Monster Hunter Rise won’t feature cross-save and cross-play when it hits PC on January 12, according to a statement from Capcom. This means that Nintendo Switch owners will not be able to transfer their data to PC or play with hunters there.

In a Tweeter, Capcom remorsefully announced that Monster Hunter Rise will not have cross-backup media on PC, indicating that it looked at it as an option. “We have heard your cross-save / cross-play requests for [Monster Hunter Rise] & sun visorThe Tweet reads. “But unfortunately, after looking at it throughout the development process, we found that we couldn’t implement it right now. As always, we appreciate your continued feedback and support.

Although this news is disappointing for fans of Monster Hunter Rise, which released on Nintendo Switch in March, it doesn’t look like Capcom is completely ruling out cross-save just yet. It is not clear whether cross-save for PC gaming will be implemented at a later date.

We have heard your Cross-Save / Cross-Play requests for #MHRise & #Sunbreak, but unfortunately after looking at it throughout the development process, we found that we couldn’t implement it this time around. As always, we appreciate your continued feedback and support.
