How to deodorize your drain in three steps

1. For half a cup of baking soda in the sink hole.

2. Add half a cup of white vinegar which will cause a chemical reaction – this is what makes baking soda and vinegar so good for cleaning. It will begin to bubble and sparkle. Let it sit for about 10-15 minutes.

3. Ultimately, boil water in a kettle, and carefully to rain the sink hole. Simple!

Another helpful tip is to add a capful of disinfectant or, if you have a garbage disposal, toss and grind some lemons to give it a fresh scent. Surprisingly, there were no more smells or smells coming from my drain, which meant it was actually working!

It should be noted that this is only a short-term solution, and if you often have smelly drains around the house, it may indicate a serious drainage issue. In this case, you should hire a plumber to take a look.
