DJI has taken the unprecedented decision to announce three separate launch events for new products within the next month. This means that a generous chunk of new technology is on its way from the Drone King, but what could the three launches be for?
The teaser for the “Good Things Come in Threes” event (above), which has just been posted on DJI Twitter page, is one of the first times we’ve seen a big tech company announce three separate events simultaneously (October 20, October 27, and November 5). And it turns the rumor mill like a yo-yo.
Based on the latest rumors, we can be quite confident about the usefulness of two of the three events. Recent speculation from DroneXL has designated October 27 as the launch date for DJI Action 2 – and given that the action camera is expected to be modular, it’s fair to assume that those pins in the central teaser logo are from the Action 2.
The most exciting event of the three, however, will likely be on November 5. We’ve seen increasing leaks for the highly anticipated DJI Mavic 3 Pro drone, including a pretty sharp photo, with speculation suggesting it will officially land in November.
The previous date we saw hinted at for the Mavic 3 Pro is November 15, but DJI leaker Jasper Ellens claims the battery logo in DJI’s new teaser is for the drone’s new battery – meaning that there’s a good chance it will finally land in november. 5, a little earlier than expected.
