Apple Watch Series 7 colors – here’s what the rumors suggest

The Apple Watch Series 7 could arrive in a few days, during the Apple event on September 14. And thanks to previous rumors and leaks, we’ve got a good idea of what to expect in terms of color options.

Apple’s next generation of its flagship laptop (expected to be announced with the iPhone 13 line) is expected to receive a number of upgrades, including a faster S7 processor, new watchOS 8 software, and a few runtime features as well. . But above all, we’re excited for what would be a complete overhaul, Apple reportedly ditched the rounded edges for a new, flat-edged look.

The design of the Apple Watch has remained largely unchanged for years now. But it looks like the Apple Watch 7 may finally be able to bring something new to the table.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman and reliable Apple leaker, Ming-Chi Kuo, have both claimed the new Apple Watch will get a whole new redesign for 2021 models. Gurman said Apple’s seventh-generation laptops may have “flatter screen and edges, faster processor, and slightly larger screens.”

Apple backer Jon Prosser, of FrontPageTech, also backed the rumors and shared that the potential Apple Watch 7’s flat-rimmed design could echo the look of the iPhone 12 and also get “experimental new colors.” .

Based on what Apple has done with its most recent flagships, it’s safe to assume that Cupertino could follow a similar pattern with its upcoming portable flagship, especially when it comes to design and color options. .

FrontPageTech’s Jon Prosser previously worked with his trusted concept artist Ian Zelbo to produce Apple Watch Series 7 render images based on what his Apple sources shared with him.

“Sources sent me a mix of images as well as CAD files for this new design,” he shared in May.

Pictures showed five colors in total, including the classic silver and black as well as the most bright red and the pastel blue and green. Prosser also hinted that there may also be more options in the works. “They worked on experimental colors,” the leak manager said. These colors would be similar to the AirPods Max, and having matching accessories isn’t a bad look.

Of course, the above is certainly not set in stone as there hasn’t been an official word from Apple yet, so we take this information with a pinch of salt.

Apple Watch Series 7 colors: our estimate

The overall design of the Apple Watch hasn’t changed much since its debut in 2015. One of the few big redesigns was the Series 4’s display and its scaled-down bezels, but other than that we haven’t seen major transformations.

Over the years, Apple has added a handful of different color options, and it’s safe to assume that the tech giant will add even more exciting colors as well.

Cupertino has clearly been busy ditching its traditional designs and color options, especially based on what we’ve seen on the devices most recently announced by Apple, such as the iPhone 12 line, the iMac 2021, and the fourth generation of the iPad Air.

Our guess is that one (if not two) colors could be borrowed from the iPhone 13’s color scheme, given that this is what Apple implemented with the navy Apple Watch Series 6. It is certainly a smart move as it would allow consumers to match their portable fantasy to their new smartphone.

Based on the above, we’re going to make a crazy guess and predict that some of the color options might be pink and bronze, because that’s what seems to be the city talk about the iPhone 13 lineup. One of the latest rumors claims that the color pink could be introduced in the mini and standard models of the iPhone 13, while the bronze or “sunset gold” option could be seen in the Pro and Pro Max models. So, cheaper aluminum clothing could be available in pink, while more high-end stainless steel models could get a bronze option.

Otherwise, we might also see more pastel tones, as this is the kind of pattern Apple is consistently following with its most recent releases. From pastel green, pink, yellow and blue to the newest addition to Apple’s colorful portfolio – purple.

Either way, September’s long-awaited event is just a few days away, which means we don’t have to wait too long until the Apple Watch Series 7 finally arrives. .
