The extension program includes career building mentoring, training and a wide range of arts resources. Creative Studios are designed to support young people who struggle with access to quality creative education. It connected attendees with mentors from Apple and more than 30 nonprofit community partners specializing in areas such as book and storytelling, app design, radio and podcast hosting. Music, radio and podcasts (Berlin, Nashville, Chicago and Paris)
Aspiring musicians in Berlin will learn about radio production. and explore the themes of inclusion under the guidance of an inspirational mentor. Working closely with Refuge Worldwide and the Open Music Lab in Nashville, the program is in collaboration with the National Museum of African American Music, which specializes in location-based recording.
